Guabi was founded in 1974
Guabi was founded in 1974 and since then it has based its work on the integration of scientific knowledge with the correct use of natural resources in the manufacturing of healthy products. Guabi has become one of the biggest animal food manufacturers all over the country with eight manufacturing plants that produce over 250 products for dog, cat, bovine, horse, pork, fish, shrimp, ostrich and other animals. All the eight factories follow the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements and the factory from Campinas city is GMP and HACCP certified by the Ministry of Agriculture of Brazil. This way, Guabi is well established to meet the most varied demands and customer expectations.

The company has partnerships with universities like Unesp Jaboticabal, research centers and farms, aiming the development and evaluation of new products. The products that are being developed are tested for performance and evaluation before they are launched, assuring a safer product for the animals and their owners. Additionally, Guabi relies on international consultants among its researchers.

Guabi has already expanded over the country’s frontiers. Since 2000, the company has leaded its efforts and investments towards international trade and today regularly exports to over 30 countries in Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean. To be able to enter the most important markets, Guabi has adapted its products to the quality levels and technical update required by most customers and the legislation of several countries. The broad acceptance of Guabi’s products and brands in these markets provides the assurance that it has met international standards of quality and competitiveness. In order to always be updated in the market, Guabi attends international fairs, works with international partners in foreign countries that deeply know the market where they have business and can count on a highly specialized export team.
